The Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Since then, Warsaw has repeatedly had to deal with enemy attacks - many buildings have suffered, but not this one. Its massive construction was not burned and destroyed by missiles.
It is hard to believe that such an amazing building was erected in just two years. The main building was created by the famous architect of the time - Stefan Szyller. The building was supposed to fit in with the classicist style that most European universities were built at that time.
