Belwederski Pond is a small water area located in a picturesque area between trees just below the Belvedere Palace in the Royal Baths. It is an ideal place for family walks. The reservoir is part of the Belvedere Garden and has recently been equipped with attractive illumination, which further enhances its attractiveness after dark.
The present pond is the result of the transformation of a small pond during the arrangement of the Belvedere Garden in the 1920s, during the reign of Grand Duke Constantine. In the vicinity of the pond is the Temple of Sibyl and the Monument of Kamil Cyprian Norwid. Nearby you can also see the preserved fragments of the first Orangery in the bathrooms.
The Belvedere Pond and its immediate surroundings are an exceptionally beautiful corner, very often chosen by painters and painters as their subject matter. Especially attractive is presented in autumn.
