The Pełcznica gorge is a deep gorge that has been partly carved by the Pełcznica river. It is located in the Książ Landscape Park and belongs to the "Przełomy pod Książem" nature reserve. The Hochberg path runs through the gorge. Following it, you can admire the picturesque nature, and with a little luck encounter flocks of chamois. In addition, there are numerous historical buildings on the trail.
The beginning of the Pełcznica Gorge is located in Szczawieńko behind the bridge, and its end in Świebodzice, in the Pełcznica district. The gorge is located in the immediate vicinity of the Książ castle - the third largest object of this type in Poland. The gorge walls reach a height of one hundred meters and form gigantic chasms.
