Museum of Porcelain

Local name: Muzeum Porcelany

The museum is located in the Albertich Palace. It mainly presents the historical and contemporary collection of ceramic products. In addition, you can admire artistic handicrafts and paintings. A section devoted to the history of the city and the region was also created. Various workshops, lectures and educational activities are organized for children.

The facility has more than 10,000 objects of the collection of Silesian porcelain and historical porcelain from European factories and manufactories. You can watch here, among others a collection of products from the 19th-century Wałbrzych manufactory or Meissen porcelain. In addition, there are works of artistic ceramics created by contemporary artists.

The exhibits were presented in an interesting way. Some rooms were arranged for former middle-class residences. Not only porcelain was placed here, but also antique furniture, handicrafts and paintings hung on the walls. The Department of History of the City and the Region has exhibits presenting the everyday life and culture of the inhabitants of this area.
