Local name: Halicz - 1333 m n.p.m.

Located within the Bieszczady National Park, the Halicz peak is 1333 m above sea level and is famous for its endless panoramas. It leads this way marked in red. Main Beskids Trail named after Kazimierz Sosnowski, and the Rozsypaniec - Krzemień nature trail. The journey allows you to get acquainted with the peculiarities of East-Carpathian nature and other peaks forming the so-called Tarnica and Halicz group.

A long route leads to Halicz and full of unforgettable views. In addition to the most famous hills of Western Bieszczady, located within the borders of Poland, one can see from here, among others Pikuj, the highest Bieszczady peak in Ukraine, and even distant Gorgany with good visibility. A cross was placed here that was previously on Tarnica.

According to legend, during the reign of Bolesław the Brave it was on Halicz that the borders of Poland, Hungary and Kievan Rus converged. In the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth cattle grazed on the Halice pastures. In the years 1939-1940 there was a courier route leading to Hungary.
