Museum of Pogórze Village Professor R. Reinfuss in Szymbark is subject to the Museum of the Karwacjan and Gładyszów Manor in Gorlice. It is an open-air museum in which you can see houses, outbuildings and small rural architecture from the West Foothills.
The museum is located in Szymbark, on the border between the Low Beskids and the Foothills. His patron is the ethnographer Roman Reinfuss, who deserves a description of these areas. The statue of the professor sitting on a bench under one of the huts stands in the center of the museum.
There are currently 15 buildings on the two hectare area. The houses managed to recreate the original interiors of the turn of the century. Former agricultural tools, fieldwork machines and horse-drawn vehicles were also collected here. In Stodola from Zagórzany the staff of Gorlice operation was reconstructed, the largest battle of World War I in Poland. In addition, in the open-air museum you can see a fully equipped forge, potter's stove and windmill.
