The Museum of the Karwacjanów and Gładyszów Manor in Gorlice is a multi-department institution that deals with the history and culture of the western part of the Low Beskids and the Carpathian Foothills. Ethnography and the history of World War I in the region have a special place in its activity, mainly the subject of the Gorlice operation from 1915. Art collections are presented in the Gorlice branch.
In addition to the headquarters in Gorlice, the Museum also looks after the Renaissance castle in Szymbark, the Mazury Farm in Łoś, the Greek Catholic Church in Bartno and the Skansen Village of Pogórzańska in Szymbark. The main branch in Gorlice is located in a former manor owned by the city owners, the Karwacjan family. It is a multi-storey, Renaissance city manor with a sloping, tent, broken roof.
The Museum of the Karwacjanów and Gładyszów Manor in Gorlice has an exhibition of works by local artists. The works presented here come primarily from the 20th century. Numerous temporary exhibitions are also organized.
