Local name: Muzeum Pszczelarstwa "Sądecki Bartnik"

The museum presents various types of beehives such as wild, straw, and box. There are also hives in shapes of houses and human figures. The agricultural building houses the exhibition of tools used to acquire honey and wax. The museum belongs to apiary Sądecki Bartnik.

Sądecki Bartnik is one of the most known bee yards in Lesser Poland. It not only produces honey and bee products but also breeds queens and bees for new families. The outdoor museum is dedicated to the history of apiarian techniques over centuries.

The largest part of the exposition is the exhibition of beehives. Some of them are real pieces of art. They have various shapes such as Saint Ambrose or Saint Francis of Assisi. The wooden agricultural building houses honey centrifuge machines, and devices for producing wax candles and storing honey. The newest part of the exhibition is dedicated to bees, their life and meaning to a human. There is also the glass hive which allows observing life of these hard-working creatures.
