St. Andrew Bobola Sanctuary
Local name: Sanktuarium św. Andrzeja Boboli
Brick neo-Gothic church St. Catherine of Alexandria was built in 1900 according to the design of Wilhelm Szomek from Sanok. In 2007, the Przemyśl metropolitan established the temple of the Sanctuary of St. Andrzej Bobola. Inside the church, you can admire Gothic altars, reliefs, stained glass, as well as numerous epitaphs and commemorative plaques. The sanctuary also has relics, originating from Strachociny, Saint. Andrzej Bobola and the baptismal font from the 15th century, in which the future saint was probably baptized.
The church also has a bell tower with three bells, a figure of Christ the King of the Universe, at the foot of which there is a spring discovered during construction works and a figure of St. Andrzej Bobola founded by the Jesuits.
Andrzej Bobola was a Polish missionary who died a martyr's death. Currently, he is a saint of the Catholic Church and one of the Catholic patrons of Poland.
