Collegium Minus is a neo-renaissance building of the Royal Academy in Poznań. Nowadays there is a Rector’s office and an auditorium of the University of Adam Mickiewicz. Built at the beginning of 20th century, the Academy’s residence has a high facade - decorated with portico and a high, ornamented building front - which is flanked by two towers. The most important hall is an Auditory, famous for its great acoustics. Every five years, it serves as an arena of musicians contest during the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.
In the Auditory, the most important university ceremonies take place. It is also being used as a concert hall, where Poznań Nightingales sing and where concerts of local and invited orchestras of musicians happen.
