The Zoological Garden in Płock is located on the picturesque Vistula Scarp. The zoo is inhabited by many animal species including the female alligator Marta which played in the movie "Hydrozagadka" ("Hydro-puzzle"). It consists of mini-arboretum, and mini-zoo where visitors can directly meet with animals. Another unique attraction is the only in Poland window through which diving penguins can be observed.
The facility is inhabited by around 3700 animals. It contains, among others, lions, kangaroos, Asian elephants, pygmy hippopotamuses, zebras, giraffes, and turtles. The zoo has the only in Poland poisonous lizards - Mexican beaded lizards. Apart from the open-air runs, the zoo also consists of the largest in Poland freshwater aquariums, aviary, and the monkey house.The facility provides interesting attractions.
