The Płock pier is unique because it runs parallel to the shoreline. Thanks to this treatment, it is protected against destructive ice phenomena, and more importantly for tourists - allows you to admire the escarpment on which the oldest monuments of the city are located - the cathedral and the castle. There is a cafe on the pier. It is adapted for people in wheelchairs.
The pier was created in 2010. It is over three hundred and fifty meters long, and in its widest point reaches over fifteen meters wide. The structure closes the yacht harbor with a capacity of about 100 boats. At the end of the pier a cafe was built and its interior was decorated in a nautical style. Walking on the pier you can admire the cathedral and castle located on the Tumski Hill, as well as the amphitheater located on the slope of the Vistula embankment.
