The amphitheater in Płock was built on the Tumskie Hill in the niche of the Vistula Slope landslide. Perfectly fits into the surrounding landscape. The facility hosts numerous events, including cabaret performances and concerts.
The building consists of a stage and auditorium situated facing the river. It has the shape of epileptic stands, which are divided into fourteen sectors. The facility can seat over 3500 spectators. The whole was covered with a membrane roof fan-shaped over the audience.
The amphitheater was built at the beginning of the twenty-first century on the site of an old and destroyed structure. The planned commissioning of the facility was suspended for a year due to too weak pylons supporting the roof, which threatened to collapse. For safety reasons, it was necessary to strengthen the structure.
