Measuring 1335 m above sea level, rocky Krzemień is the second highest peak of the Bieszczady National Park. The second longest trail in the Polish mountains, marked by blue, leads through the massif, and it reaches its highest point here. The nature trail Rozsypaniec-Krzemień also leads here. The highest tip of Krzemień lies a bit off the beaten track and is not accessible to tourists. The peak is famous for its numerous debris and rocks. The shortest way to Krzemień is from Wołosate.
From Krzemień, you can continue your journey along the blue trail through the beautiful Bukowina Berda mountain range known for its extensive views. The proximity of the highest peak of the Western Bieszczady - Tarnica is also tempting. Not far from here also runs the red Main Beskids Trail, which will bring tourists through Szeroki Wierch to Ustrzyki Górne, or along the Rozsypaniec - Krzemień path through Halicz to Wołosate.
Probably the name of the summit comes from the Ukrainian word "hreben", which is a ridge that aptly describes a toothed rocky ridge.
