Józef Czapski Pavilion is a modern museum building which is included in the complex of Emeryk Hutten-Czapski Museum in Kraków. It consists of the collection of items which belonged to Józef Czapski, Polish writer, painter and intellectual. Journals, documents, books, and personal belongings were bequeathed by Czapski to the National Museum in Kraków.
The permanent exhibition presents the life and works of Czapski. The important part of it is the re-creation of his room where he lived for over 40 years. It is there, where he cooperated with Jerzy Giedroyc and Mr. and Mrs. Hertz in making "Paris Culture".The ground floor of the pavilion is occupied by the library consisting of a rich collection of books related to the artist, and the cafe arranged in a French style.
