Chapel of St. Jack's Grave

Local name: Kaplica Grobu św. Jacka

The Chapel of St. Jack's Grave is a place of rest of Saint Jack, the first Pole who joined the Dominican Order. After the joining, Jack established several Dominican monasteries in Poland.

The chapel is decorated with stuccos, and polychrome by Karol Dankwart. It also consists of paintings depicting scenes from the life of Saint Jack. The late-Baroque grave of the saint was made by Baltazar Fontana at the turn of the 18th century.
