Presented museum collections show changes taking place in fire technology from the mid-nineteenth century to the end of the 20th century, as well as hand-held fire extinguishing equipment. The collection of the museum includes, among other things, different types of thongs, the oldest of which came from the 19th century, Polish and foreign motopumps, alarm equipment, breathing apparatus, helmets, torches, axes and combat belts. In the museum we can also see antique fire trucks.
In addition to technical exhibits, the facility provides an exhibition bringing together the culture of Polish firefighting with the collection of banners, decorations, medals, diplomas, stamps, uniforms and other memorabilia.
Exhibits were collected thanks to the involvement of firefighters from all over Poland, who donated to the museum both personal souvenirs and antique equipment from volunteer and professional fire brigades.
The facility is a branch of the Regional Museum in Siedlce. Promotes knowledge about Polish firefighting with its history and culture. The museum also has its own library and archive.
