The Podkarpackie Museum of Firefighting is located in the Fireman's House in Stara Wieś, at the local Volunteer Fire Brigade. The collections gathered in six rooms contain technical monuments and souvenirs dedicated to the history of firefighting. The exhibits include horse-drawn fire truck, fire trucks - eg "Dodge" and "Star N71", fire guns, helmets, trumpet, decorations, banners, documents and photographs. You can also see an exhibition of folk art containing everyday equipment and tools, e.g. a spinning wheel and scissors to cut candle wicks.
The museum has existed since 1986, and its founder was Stanisław Dydek, a longtime guardian of the collection. The facility is a branch of the Regional Museum in Brzozów. Among the monuments related to firefighting are also such curiosities as, for example, a picture made of sugar and seeds depicting the patron of firefighters, Saint. Florian.
