Krzemieniec Tripoint 1221 m

Local name: Trójstyk na Krzemieńcu 1221 m

Krzemieniec Tripoint in Bieszczady Mountains is a place where borders of Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine meet with each other. It consists of the granite obelisk with coats of arms of three nations and inscriptions in three languages. It is the eastmost place in Slovakia and also the highest peak in the Slovakian part of Bieszczady Mountains called Bukowski Mountains.

The peak, also known as Kremanaros, is also a spot where three protected areas within the East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve meet. They include Polish Bieszczady National Park, Slovakian Poloniny National Park, and Ukrainian Uzhanian National Nature Park.

The shortest and the most picturesque route to Krzemieniec is the combinations of three trails: the green in Wyżnańska Mountain Pass, the yellow through Mała Rawka and Wielka Rawka, and the blue Carpathian trail. The last one, which connects Ustrzyki Górne with Pasmo Graniczne, goes through the top. The red trails, on the other hand, lead from Nova Sedlica in Slovakia and Stužica in Ukraine.
