Created in early In the 19th century, a collection of anatomical preparations served as didactic material for medical students. A certain proficiency in the preparation of organs and entire human bodies was gained by a certain Petrus Koning, who made 1880 objects in the years 1817-1834. About 40 works by Koning have survived, which are now the pride of the museum's collection.
