Oudegracht

The channel measures about 2 km long and crosses the entire city center from south to north. For centuries it was the main artery of the city. It is surrounded by a unique system of courtyards, basements and warehouses, located directly at the very edge of the canal. Some of them were transformed into cafes and restaurants.
