Garden of Saint Mary

The floral garden and the herb garden, rich in dozens of plant species, occupy the square where the St. Mary's Church was founded in the 11th century. The Romanesque edifice was seriously damaged in 1576 and has since fallen into ruin. Finally it was demolished in the early XIX century - only cloisters survived.
