Construction of the current castle began around 1325. Over the centuries, it passed into the hands of subsequent families. Only in 1923, after a thorough renovation, the castle was put into use as a town hall. In the 70s of the last century, it was decided that only two halls would be used for the purposes of the city council - the wedding hall and the chamber of the Council. The rest of the building houses a museum collection.
