Red Light Secrets - Museum of Prostitution

The Prostitution Museum presents the history and, above all, the everyday life of this profession legally performed in the Netherlands. While visiting, tourists can listen to the voice recordings of real prostitutes, learn the secrets of this work, and even stand for a moment in the already famous windows of the Red Light District to feel on their own skin like one of the women working there.
It is the only museum of its kind in the world.

The facility was opened in 2014. Although it is not a typical museum institution, it mainly aims to educate. While prostitution is a taboo subject in many countries, in addition to watching the presented multimedia materials, gadgets and stories served to tourists, each of them can receive answers to questions that bother him; even the most embarrassing ones.

Noteworthy are also the opportunity to learn the spicy secrets of prostituted women and to visit the rooms in which they welcome customers on a daily basis.
