Biblical Museum
Local name: Bijbels Museum
One of the oldest Bible museums in Europe. It is located in a historic tenement house on one of the Amsterdam canals, which until 1975 was the seat of the Biblical Society.
The exhibitions gather various editions of the Bible from the period from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Apart from this, there are monuments from the areas of Egypt and Palestine, which are supposed to bring the time of the creation of the Holy Bible. the exhibition also includes reconstructions of the meeting tent from the period of Jewish migration through the desert or a model of the Solomon Temple in Jerusalem.Less
