Amsterdam Cheese museum
Local name: Amsterdamse kaasmuseum
The Cheese Museum is located just above the Prinsengracht canal, in close proximity to the Anne Frank House. This is a small shop offering the sale of Dutch cheeses, which also organized an exhibition on this unique product for which the Netherlands is famous. Admission is free.
The museum offers a free tasting of traditional Dutch cheeses and introduces the process and history of their production. You can see educational videos, old photos, old and modern tools used to make cheese. At the end of this short tour, you can change into traditional Dutch farmers' costumes and take a souvenir photo session.
