Santa Croce Camerina is a small, traditional village on the Sicilian coast. The traditional architecture has been preserved here, and seaside settlements such as Punta Braccetto have access to beautiful beaches that are still not besieged by crowds of tourists.
The town is far from the sea, but has close ties with it through its settlements such as Punta Secca, Punta Braccetto, Casuzze, Kaucana. They are developing seaside resorts with hotels, guesthouses and holiday apartments. It is dominated by small facilities that are well suited for people who are looking for a quiet rest. Beaches such as the beach at Punta Secca are sandy, although quite narrow. Most of them are public, there are recreational equipment rentals.
In the center of Santa Croce Camerina, the historical spatial arrangement has been preserved with several squares and narrow streets connecting them. There are historic houses here, many of them now have restaurants and bars.
