Cathedral of St. Nicholas

Built in the 18th century in the style of the Sicilian Baroque cathedral, which, together with the monuments of the old city, is on the UNESCO list. It is a three-nave church on a cross plan, with a high, neoclassical dome over the intersection of naves. The dome was rebuilt at the beginning of the 21st century after the collapse of the 1990 earthquake.
