Parrocchia San Angeli Custodi in Rome is a neoclassical church built in the 1920s. You can admire the antique frescoes from the 1960s by Aronne Del Vecchio, depicting "Angels in Paradise" and "Holy Trinity and Virgin Mary". A statue of the "Immaculate Conception of Mary" stands in front of the building.
The temple was built on the initiative of Pope Benedict XV. The architect Gustavo Giovannoni was responsible for its design. The interior is very richly decorated. The main altar was modeled on a work by Guercino - the altar of Archangel Michael.
In 1965, the temple received the title of deacon from Pope Paul VI. It has been a titular church since 2010. The name of the church refers to another temple, demolished in the 1920s - Santi Angeli Custodi al Tritone (Church of the Holy Guardian Angels).
