The Art Museum is located in the Loggetta Lombardesca building, a former convent of Our Lady built in the 16th century. Its collections are divided into three permanent exhibitions, in addition to which the building regularly hosts temporary exhibitions.
The largest part of the collection is painting and sculptural art from the 14th to 19th centuries. The second section presents contemporary painting and graphics, where the most important exhibits are the works of Gustav Klimt. The last of the permanent exhibitions is devoted to contemporary mosaic.Less
