Early Christian basilica from the 6th century built by King Theodoric as a palace chapel. Since 1996, along with other Ravenna monuments from that period, it has been included in the UNESCO list. The building has a three-nave layout, and in front of the entrance there is an open porch with columns. A round tower-bell tower rises next to it. The interior of the church is covered with mosaics that form cycles. In the upper part there are scenes from the New Testament, below are saints and prophets, and in the lower part of the walls there are processions of martyrs and martyrs walking towards Mary with the Child.
