Prags is a small mountain village in the Dolomites. It is a good base for active tourism, especially mountain hiking.
The village has retained its traditional Alpine architecture with houses with sloping roofs and wooden balconies. It consists of several smaller hamlets separated from each other by meadows. The rocky slopes of the Dolomites rise all around.
The Prags area is great for hiking. You can get out from here, among others to Vallandro Summit 2,838 m, from which you can admire the wonderful panorama of the Dolomites. You can see from here, among others the famous peak of Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
The pearl of this area and the biggest attraction of Prags is Lake Braises. They are surrounded by mountain peaks exceeding 2,000 m above sea level. A walking path leads around the lake, allowing you to admire the views, and at the northern edge there is a church and a hotel.
