Strada Nuova Museum - Red Palace

Local name: Museo di Strada Nuova -Palazzo Rosso

One of the most important Genoese palaces, built in the 17th century for the Brignole family. The baroque building on the "U" plan now houses a museum, which presents paintings by such masters as Durer, Veronese and van Dyck. In some rooms, you can also admire the wonderful, illusionist frescoes from the 17th and 18th centuries.
