The Museum of the Calvinist College gives visitors the opportunity to see the extensive collection that has been collected for decades by the Calvinist College. The museum's collections include religious and applied art, medals, numerous books and manuscripts. The museum has six permanent exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions are also organized.
Books and manuscripts form one of the permanent exhibitions at the museum. You can see here manuscripts from the 16th-17th century, as well as such unique copies as the anatomical atlas from the 18th century or richly illustrated botanical books. An exhibition on the history of education, as well as an exhibition presenting the history of the Reformation in Debrecen enjoys popularity among visitors. A separate exhibition was devoted to sacred art.
The museum is located directly at the Calvinist College. The history of the museum dates back to the nineteenth century, when Bishop Bálint Révész proposed the creation of an exhibition. However, this idea was realized only in 1967.
