Minoan Knossos Palace

The ruins of the largest monument in Greece from the Minoan period. The palace was the center of power from around 2000 to 1400 BC. It is also called a maze. It creates a network of interconnected rooms. Some of them feature original frescoes. Within the site, you can admire the preserved foundations, fragments of columns and statues. A large part of the monuments were placed in museums.
