Local name: Sprengel Museum

One of the most important art museums of the 20th and 21st centuries in Germany. Established in 1971 on the basis of a collection donated to the city by Bernhard Sprengel. It has a rich collection of German expressionism, French cubism and other directions of contemporary art. You can see works here, among others Lissitzky, Klee, Picasso, Beckmann or Niki de Saint Phalle.
