New Town Hall

Local name: Neues Rathaus

The neo-Renaissance, crowned with a powerful dome, the town hall building is considered a symbol of the city. It was built in 1913 and is still the seat of the Hannover authorities. In the main hall under the dome you can see four models of the city from different periods of time. In the Hodler hall there is a monumental wall painting showing the transition of the inhabitants of Hannover to the Reformation. You can take the elevator to the dome and admire the panorama of the city from there.
