Lower Saxony State Museum

Museum consisting of several different departments. There is a painting gallery and archaeological, ethnographic and natural history collections. The art collection covers the period from the 11th to the 20th century and contains works by such masters as Rembrandt or Rubens. Visitors can also see objects from excavations from the Stone Age to the early Middle Ages or an exhibition dedicated to the cultures of Asia, Oceania and Africa.
