The Trabant Museum was opened in 2013 and is dedicated to the iconic cars of this brand. In addition to classic passenger models such as P50, P60 or 601, the facility has such unique exhibits as a military, rally and even trabant trabant with a fully equipped caravan or tent on the roof. The real pearl of the collection is the so-called ferrabi, i.e. a combination of a ferrari trabant and a P70 model with a wooden frame.
The cinema hall, in which short films about the importance of the trabant in East German culture and the history of its production are particularly popular.
Trabant is the most popular car from the GDR. Its production took place in 1957-1991 at a Saxon factory in Zwickau. During this period, over 3 million cars of this brand went to German streets.
