The Passion Church is a neo-Romanesque Evangelical temple built in the first half Of the 20th century. The author of the project was Theodor Astfalck Construction Council. Inside the historic church, mosaics with Byzantine elements, a unique chandelier with colorful Art Nouveau glass and stained glass windows delight. In addition to services, the temple hosts numerous concerts, lectures, exhibitions, recordings and conferences.
In the 1990s, the building was adapted to numerous cultural events - the altar was rebuilt into a stage, while the use of special plaster on the ceiling significantly improved the interior acoustics. The building can seat over 700 spectators.
The church performed the world's largest pop stars like No Angels, as well as representatives of rock, jazz, classical and folk music, including Subway to Sally, Last Instance or Zakk Wylde.
