Built in 1617-1622, the chapel is the first baroque sacred building in Lyon. The work of the Jesuit architect Etienne Martellange falls into oblivion with the dissolution of the order and is gradually devastated. It wasn't until the 1990s that it was restored and is now used as a popular venue for classical music concerts.
