The 16th-century Hôtel Gadagne houses the city museum of Lyon and the puppet museum founded in 1950. In the collection of about 2,000 dolls, the dominant figure is the most famous hero of the French puppet theater - Guignol. Performances with his participation can be seen in the theater located in the same building.
