The historic Renaissance district of Lyon is also the oldest part of the city. It has been fully inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The medieval streets are home to boutiques, restaurants and museums, including the Museum of Miniatures and Films and the Cathedral Treasury Museum.
