Museum of zoology

The world's oldest museum of natural history dates from the end of the 17th century, although it was officially founded in 1862. It houses about 10 million zoological specimens, depicting mainly animals from Denmark, Greenland and former Danish colonies. There is also the largest exhibition in the country devoted to Darwin and the theory of evolution.
