The originally Renaissance building was erected by the Rosenberg family in the years 1545-1574. The current shape of the palace is the result of a thorough reconstruction and modernization carried out in the eighteenth century. One of the most interesting exhibitions presented here collects original gargoyles from the cathedral of St. Wit.
