Dětenice Castle is a small palace in the Baroque style, restored and open to the public. In the interior you can watch, among others Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque frescoes, paintings and a unique collection of Maltese weapons, hunting weapons, and numerous trophies. There is also a hotel and castle brewery on the property. However, in the park a number of sculptures from the Classicist Baroque period have been preserved.
Numerous attractions await visitors. One of them is visiting the castle in the company of devils, wraiths and witches, another - a staging of fairy tales about the Sleeping Beauty played in the palace chambers. Near the castle there is also an inn, where you can eat dishes prepared according to original recipes and served by staff dressed in medieval costumes. Rococo balls and medieval feasts are also held at the Dětenice castle.
