The Škoda Museum is located in Mladá Boleslav. The exhibition details the history of the factory of the most famous Czech cars in the world. On the 1800 sq m exhibition space there are about 500 exhibits, these are mainly cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
The exhibition was divided into three sections: "Tradition", "Evolution" and "Precision". Visitors can learn about the origins of the brand and the process of its development, as well as the technique of restoring historic cars.
The first enterprise producing cars and motorbikes in Mladá Boleslav was the Laurin & Klement automotive plant, founded by a mechanic and industrialist. It quickly became the largest factory in Austria-Hungary. In the 1920s, it was taken over by Škoda Auto.
