Tyrolean House and farm with animals

Tirolerhof Schönbrunn is a Tyrolean farm located in the Vienna zoo. is a two-story building, consisting of a wing and a residential building as well as an outbuilding. Inside and around the enclosures surrounding the building there are farm animals such as horses, sheep, goats, cows and chickens. On the ground floor there is also a small shop with agricultural products, which sells bread, cheese, hams, fruit juices and other traditional rural dishes.
In the lower part of the Tirolerhaus there are often incubators and small glass rooms with young farm animals, such as chicks or small rabbits. This is an attraction especially for young children.
Tirolerhof Schönbrunn is an original Tyrolean country house. The building dates from 1722, but at the beginning of the 21st century it was completely moved to Vienna.
