Imperial Carriage Museum

The Imperial Coach House Museum presents all means of transport used at the Imperial Court from the 17th century to the end of the Habsburg rule and various accompanying exhibitions. The facility has in its collection over 5000 exhibits.
The building presents a Neo-Baroque style, and its interiors abound with decorations characteristic for this style. This makes this building one of the most beautiful museums of this type in Europe.
The most interesting items included in the exhibition include the representative carriage from 1763 and the hearse from the second half of the 19th century, used only during the funerals of the imperial family. In addition, the facility offers various types of tours of the facility, including the opportunity to learn more about the biography of the famous Sisi or Elisabeth and special tours for children and teenagers.
