A baroque fountain located in the French garden at the Schönbrunn Palace, below the hill on which Glorietta stands. It was built in 1780 on the orders of Empress Maria Teresa. It is a three-storey building adjacent to the wall, which symbolically ends the main palace garden.
At the top of the fountain stands Neptune, at his feet kneeling tide begging for prosperity during the sea journey of her son Achilles. On the other hand, there is a nymph with a cornucopia, while on lower levels there are men emerging from the water on horseback.Less
